Helane Jeffreys
Helane Jeffreys is the President of Voice For Success, a corporate communications company founded in 1984 that focuses on executive presentation coaching for corporate leaders. In 1995, with the rewrite of the FAR 15, VFS was strategically positioned to become one of the first companies on the scene to support corporate clients who were bidding on contracts with the government.

Helane’s background as a speech-language pathologist and corporate communications trainer was vital in the development of the Voice for Success process that combines content and speaking skills into a compliant credible presentation. She also continues to provide communication consultation and training to executives seeking to improve their comfort and skill in dealing with the press, public, staff and Board Members.

Deborah Hurley
Deborah Hurley has been a Senior coach with Voice for Success since 1995. She came to VFS with
15 years experience as a producer/director of training and marketing programs for government and corporate clients. It was during this time she developed some of the processes that VFS uses to take non-professional speakers and transform them into comfortable, confident and compelling presenters.

Deborah especially enjoys crafting compliant messages that weave in win themes, discriminators and benefits.

J. Shep Jeffreys
Shep Jeffreys is a psychologist who serves Voice For Success as a senior presentation coach.  In addition to his clinical background he brings experience as a corporate consultant for workplace change.  He is a professional keynote speaker, teacher, and seminar leader.

He enjoys watching individuals grow in their skills and confidence as presenters of their team’s solution. He also finds it gratifying to witness the development of the group as a cohesive and “can do” corporate team.

Sally Ann Lentz
Sally Lentz has been a presentation coach with VFS for eight years, coaching a wide variety of corporate teams and individuals.  She come to VFS with a background in law, having practiced for over 20 years. As a lawyer, her particular strengths are in helping clients craft the message – telling the client’s story is very much like preparing a position for a legal issue.  Having testified before Congress and UN agencies, she brings a personal understanding of what it takes to prepare and present a proposal and how to overcome the fears that go along with that process.   

Why does Sally love this work?  Because she knows that the skills we provide to our clients go well beyond orals day.  These are skills that will benefit each presenter throughout his/her professional career.

Our passion comes from our joy in seeing the many changes in individuals and teams, from the kickoff to the final rehearsal. We take great pride in being a part of crafting a compelling persuasive message. We delight in seeing a team laugh and smile and have fun serving as each other’s coaches.
